Welcome to our web site.   Here you can find out about our program and upcoming Boosters events happening at Lackey and in the community.   Please join us in supporting our student athletes and the Lackey community.   Clearly the contributions you make have a major positive impact on our children's athletic experiences at Henry E. • Special Announcements from Mr. Anderson, Athletic Director
  
  
  • Lackey Sports Physicals have been rescheduled!!    They will be Tuesday August 4, 2009 from 5 to 7 pm here at the school.    Cost will be $25.00 (No checks)
  • Athletic Eligibility Packets can be picked-up in the Main office during school hours or from Mr. Anderson.
  • The Fall Sports preseason meeting will be Monday August 3, 2009 for parents and coaches. Time for parents meeting will be 6:30 pm in the auditorium.   Coaches meeting time will be TBA later.
  • Underclassman pictures for the school will be August 26, by classes.
  
  
  
• Congrats to our own Dave Anderson, Athletic Director.
  He was honored with the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association State Award of Merit, which is presented to an NIAAA and MSADA member who has demonstrated contributions to interscholastic athletics at both the local and state levels.
  He was also named as the District 4 MSADA District Athletic Director or the Year. This award is presented to an athletic administrator who has made significant contributions to athletics in their school and district.

• Booster Sports Scholarships were Awarded.
  The Wanda Lucas Scholarship Fund consisting of two $1,500.00 Scholarships were awarded to the top scoring Male Athlete "Zac Herbert" and the top scoring Female Athlete "Rachel Cutlip".  The Leonard Stevenson Scholarship of $1,000.00 was awarded to "Maya Davis". Congrats to you all.  More info to follow.
  
  
• High School Girls Soccer Camp:
  Sensible Soccer is offering a 5-day soccer-coaching camp for high school girls.  The camp will start at 9am and finish at 12pm noon and will be held at Bensville Park. The camp dates are Monday thru Friday – July 27th - 31st 2009.
  The cost of the course is $100 for five days, checks should be made payable to Sensible Soccer.   The attached flyer contains all the necessary info for the camp and reserving your spot.   Please circulate this email/flyer to those who may be interested.
  Nickie Wilce of Sensible Soccer UK has renamed the camp to "Michelle Ballengee Memorial Soccer Camp" for her involvement in the Sensible Soccer Camps over the years.
